this is something i've never done. i used to keep a diary for like... 4 days until i forgot about it forever. unlike a diary tho, these are just gonna be monthly blogs, give or take. i thought if i liked reading other people's blog posts then i will probably enjoy making one, so here we. the first one.
i really feel like life can't decide whether to be amazing or not. on the one hand, i've just finished my first year of uni, have met someone really amazing in all aspects that someone can be and i'm back home spending time with my family and those proper 'ride or die' friends. on the other, the aftermath of breaking up with my abusive ex has reared its ugly head in quite a big way, i'm set to start working in a place i know i won't enjoy (beggars can't be choosers) and i'm now very far away from aforementioned amazing person (don't want to be soppy but it's my beautiful gf btw). I know things will blow over with my ex, I will leave the job for my second year and I am seeing my gf on her birthday soon so maybe things aren't that bad and I just need to get on with things.

anyway, i thought that creating a website would be a fun passion project to distract me from some of the shit bits yk. i have also been doing a good amount of life laundry. a BIG clear out. you can finally see the floor of my room. in fact, it's tidy! i must be getting rid of 70% of all my possessions. it had gotten to the point of burden, so this is a welcome change. thinking about it, i think starting this job will be another welcome change. i could probably do with some financial stability of my own going into my 2nd year and my parents are sure to be prouder of me. i've also been helping out with my brother in the studio he rents. i really enjoy it and i'm glad he trusts me to use my initiative when its his and whoever we are recording's career at the end of the day.
i'm gonna wrap this up now. my plans tonight are pesto pasta for tea, continue working on this website and see my friends for a drink. meeting my mate's gf so that should be cool. if you have taken the time to read all of this: thank you.
